How to convert avi to gif?

i want to show some skills that i add to deidara as gif...
so i make a avi from a skill with Camstudio...

but what a program i have to use to convert the avi to a gif?
what program you use to make gifs?

I use animake.
But I think animake doesnt "convert" them.
You must take screenshots after every single moving.
Or just take the sprites from the sprite/sys to make a animation.
Kakuzu told me that he uses GIFAT.

ok.. thank you...

i found a program: magig swf2gif... not the best quality, but it works... as you can see in my deidara thread...

but has somebody a program or a way that ends with a better quality? for example like XIXs gifs in the announcement...

Use Easy GIF Animator. You clearly see every sprite, choose the time before switching to the other one and update it the way you want it. And the image clarity is Muuuuuch better! (Remember my Zetsu Sketch before? (green hair turning to yellow...))
